Job summary

Munson Healthcare in northern Michigan is seeking a Help Desk Associate to provide first-contact IT support and triage user issues across multiple channels. You will document resolutions and escalate complex problems while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in Information Systems, Business or Healthcare is preferred.
• Basic knowledge and troubleshooting skills related to computer hardware and software; TCP/IP network connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at first point of contact and triage issues.
• Provide verbal, written and interpersonal support via phone, email, voicemail, chat, and in-person.
• Document activities and maintain technical documentation of service requests.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve first-level issues in a networked environment following procedures.
• Support installation or re-installation of PC software via remote control.
