IES Residential, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our field team. You will assist with preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic troubleshooting on residential and commercial HVAC systems, and support senior techs with installations.

You’ll document work, communicate findings, and deliver professional customer service. The role is ideal for someone starting a long-term career in HVAC, mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• HVAC training or related certification preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Willingness to pass background and drug screenings, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Clean and maintain HVAC equipment, components, and work areas.
• Inspect systems for proper operation and identify issues.
• Replace filters, belts, and other basic components as needed.
• Document service performed and communicate findings clearly.
• Provide professional customer service during all interactions.
• Follow all safety procedures and industry standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if assigned).
• Assist senior technicians with repairs and installations as needed.
• Complete required training and certification programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
