IES Residential, Inc. is hiring an Entry-Level HVAC Maintenance Technician to support preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and general service for residential and commercial HVAC systems. The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, eagerness to learn, and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC school, technical certification, or related training preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screening if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Clean and maintain HVAC equipment, components, and work areas.
• Inspect systems for proper operation and identify potential issues.
• Replace filters, belts, and other basic components as needed.
• Document service performed and communicate findings clearly.
• Provide professional customer service during all interactions.
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if assigned).
• Assist senior technicians with repairs and installations as needed.
• Complete required training and certification programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
