Service Champions Heating and Air Conditioning in Livermore is hiring for an HVAC Training Technician- Paid Training Program for Entry Level. This full-time role begins with an 8-week paid technical training at Champions University in Pleasanton, CA.

No prior residential HVAC experience is required; we hire for attitude and train for skill. You will gain hands-on experience with residential systems and build client relationships while developing professional skills.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work in varying climates.
• Ability to access tight spaces, crawl, climb ladders, and work in attics or roofs.
• Excellent customer service and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems.
• Inspect and repair furnaces, condensers and compressors using hand and power tools.
• Build client relationships through remarkable service and clear communication.
• Educate clients on system maintenance to improve home comfort.
• Document service actions and recommendations in reports and logs.
• Adhere to quality and safety standards and honor commitments.
• Continue learning through ongoing training.

When you join our team, you go through a 8-week paid technical training program in our Champions University training center and lab in Pleasanton, CA.

Experience with heavy customer service, sales, solar, plumbing, electrical, roofing, auto mechanic, labor or landscaping- transfers well to this entry level position.

What Will I Do?

• Drive Top Performance by performing routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect repair, and conduct maintenance on furnaces, condensers and compressors
• Build client relationships by Giving Remarkable Service with strong communication and customer service skills
• Be Kind and Encouraging by educating clients on their systems and maintenance requirements
• Identify opportunities for clients to improve their home comfort systems
• Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs and/or records
• Complete all tasks in accordance with Service Champions quality and safety standards and Honor Our Commitments
• Update job knowledge by Being a Life Long Student and participating in educational opportunities

Annualized potential compensation based on individual performance $50,000 - $65,000
