Modigent is seeking an entry-level Service Agent / Dispatcher for HVAC service operations. You will schedule repair and maintenance calls, dispatch work, manage work orders, and support a high-performing team in a hybrid office setting.

You will liaise with internal technicians and external customers, maintain records, and contribute to customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes organization, communication, and problem-solving in a nationwide services context.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years in customer service, dispatching, admin support, or inside sales; HVAC/service industry is a plus.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or some college preferred.
• Certifications/Licenses: Valid driver’s license not required for this office-based role.
• Physical Demands: Primarily sedentary, frequent computer/phone use; occasional light lifting (<20 lbs).
• Work Environment: Professional office with hybrid options; standard safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Receive, record, and dispatch incoming service requests from customers.
• Identify appropriate technician and schedule work to balance productivity and customer service.
• Answer calls with a warm, professional demeanor; liaise between customers and technicians.
• Call customers to set, confirm, and reschedule appointments; maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
• Procure job-related materials from vendors and coordinate delivery or pickup.
• Ensure paperwork is complete and accurate; finalize work orders for invoicing.
• Assist with reviewing weekly AR reports and support collections as needed.
• Handle full-cycle invoicing from creation to completion.
