Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Junior Sales Engineer for commercial HVAC equipment to blend engineering knowledge with customer interaction, consultative selling, and business development.

You will work with consulting engineers, contractors, and building professionals to understand project requirements and propose equipment solutions. The role offers hands-on training in HVAC equipment applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
Recent graduates encouraged to apply
Exposure to commercial HVAC systems or BAS beneficial
Willingness to learn and communicate technical solutions
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

Responsibilities

Build relationships with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, and industry professionals to develop new business opportunities.
Communicate directly with customers to understand project requirements and equipment needs.
Identify upcoming commercial projects and assist in developing equipment sales opportunities.
Learn commercial HVAC equipment applications and recommend solutions based on customer needs.
Review drawings and specs to help determine equipment selections and prepare quotations and submittals.
Participate in customer meetings and technical presentations.
Collaborate with sales team and supplier partners to develop solutions for customers.
Develop product knowledge and pursue new business opportunities.
