Job summary

Service Experts in Houston, TX is seeking an Installer Helper I. This entry-level role works under close supervision to assist with installing HVAC equipment and accessories in customers’ homes, following company requirements and manufacturer specifications.

You will help install heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems, assist with duct work, handle installation paperwork neatly, and keep tools and vehicles in good condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training; 0–2 years HVAC experience preferred.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and equipment operation.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn to operate necessary tools and equipment.
• Effective communication and time-management skills; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Installer/Lead Installer in installing HVAC equipment and accessories in customer homes.
• Help install heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems per specs.
• Assist with ducts and duct fittings installation.
• Ensure company property, vehicles, and tools are used and maintained properly.
• Complete paperwork neatly and timely; represent the company professionally.
