Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an entry-level Installer Helper in Alabama. You will assist the Installer or Lead Installer with HVAC installations in customers' homes, helping with heating and cooling equipment, ducts, and related components, under direct supervision.

The role emphasizes safe work practices, customer service, and efficient completion of installation tasks, while maintaining company standards and paperwork accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 0 to 2 years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification preferred
• EPA and safety certifications required by federal, state, or local laws
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and related equipment
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Works under direct supervision of the Installer or Lead Installer to install HVAC equipment and accessories in the customer’s home
• Assists with the installation of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as accessories, in accordance with company requirements and manufacturer specifications
• Assists in the installation of ducts and duct fittings
• Performs duties to deliver excellent customer service and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction
• Assists in the delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete the installation work
• Assists the Installer or Lead Installer in ensuring company property, vehicles, and tools are used, maintained, and properly accounted for
• Completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner
• Represents the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters
