Job summary

Mercy is seeking an entry-level Energy Center Operator I in Oklahoma City to learn HVAC and refrigeration system operations and maintenance. You will develop safety practices, operate boiler equipment, and gain exposure to regulatory requirements while providing excellent service.

Ideal candidates have at least a high school diploma or 1 year of relevant experience, plus licenses such as Boiler Operator and EPA refrigerant certification within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Education: High School, equivalent, or 1 year direct relevant experience.
• EPA Universal Certification for handling refrigerants required within 12 months.
• Class II Boiler Operator's License required at Mercy OKC and Mercy Arkansas locations.
• High Pressure Boiler Operator license for Arkansas locations.
• Undergrond storage tank certification (Tank Operator) required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Learn operations for HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Develop safety practices and proper use of basic tools and equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot boilers, HVAC, and related systems.
• Prioritize work and manage time and materials efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support an Environment of Care.
