Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking an Automation Technician I in Reno, NV to inspect, test, adjust and repair electric, electronic, mechanical and pneumatic automation devices and systems.

You will diagnose malfunctions and perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliable operation. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience, plus knowledge of HVAC control systems (Delta, JCI or Andover).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent field experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC controls systems (Delta/JCI/Andover).
• Experience with control system architecture design, programming or maintenance.
• Ability to read drawings and diagnose electrical/mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, adjust and repair automation devices and systems.
• Diagnose causes of electrical or mechanical malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Record calibrations, parts used, and inventory; prepare as-built drawings.
• Interface with teams to install, modify, and commission controlled systems.
• Monitor trends and run system reports; schedule equipment run times.
