Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. in Las Vegas is seeking an Automation Technician I to inspect, test, adjust and repair electric, electronic, mechanical and pneumatic automation devices and systems. You will diagnose malfunctions and perform preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of at least one HVAC controls system (Delta, JCI or Andover).
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics.
• Strong verbal and written communication; experience with control system design or maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test and calibrate sensors, controllers, and indicators for accuracy.
• Read and identify components on control drawings.
• Diagnose and repair automation equipment and monitor system trends.
• Coordinate with installation/maintenance teams for modifications.
