Job summary

Sapphire Gas Solutions LLC in Midland, TX, is seeking an entry-level HSE Facilities Technician to support health, safety, and environmental initiatives on project sites, with 60–70% travel across Texas. You will work with the Director of Safety & Compliance and HSE Manager to implement policies, conduct inspections, and assist with onboarding, training, and risk assessments.

This role offers growth in RNG/LNG/CNG solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Safety & Health Management or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certifications preferred.
• CSP and/or TWIC Card preferred.
• 1+ years in HSE/Safety in Oil & Gas, Natural Gas or Energy industries.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations and standards.
• Experience with ISNetworld, Veriforce, and/or DISA preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in designing work processes and training personnel.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a detailed environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure HSE compliance.
• Assist with site inspections and OSHA compliance.
• Onboard new employees and lead engagement activities.
• Deliver health and safety initiatives at project locations.
• Support adherence to Sapphire policies and regulations.
• Provide guidance to Texas and regional operations staff.
• Develop and update HSE policies and procedures under guidance.
• Collaborate with Operations on HSE policy development and maintenance.
• Support safety meetings and update PPE assessments as needed.
• Interpret OSHA regulations, TRCC, and safe work practices.
• Identify hazards and develop risk assessments (JSAs).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
