Job summary

Primoris Energy Services in Haskell, TX seeks an HSE Technician to support health, safety and environmental programs on energy/service projects. You will help implement compliance, promote a strong safety culture and assist in risk management across sites.

The role requires 2+ years in HSE, OSHA knowledge, strong communication and the ability to train staff. Travel to multiple sites is expected; relevant certifications are preferred. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 2+ years in an HSE role, preferably in energy or construction.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct effective safety training and presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license; travel to job sites as needed.
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and non-compliance.
• Assist in development and delivery of safety training programs for employees and contractors.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, training, incidents, and environmental data.
• Participate in JSAs and other risk assessment tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulations.
• Monitor environmental aspects like waste disposal, emissions, and spills.
• Assist in emergency response planning and drills.
• Collaborate with management to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Support company-wide HSE initiatives and best practices.
