Job summary

Sapphire Gas Solutions LLC is seeking an Energy Management Field Technician to support safe implementation of natural gas projects across LNG, CNG and related field operations in Texas. You will operate and maintain equipment, support field and rotating equipment, and provide top-level customer service.

The role requires strong electrical, instrumentation and control system skills, PLC/SCADA experience, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; technical electrical cert preferred.
• 2+ years with AC/DC circuits, motor controls, PLC wiring, and low-voltage troubleshooting.
• 2+ years process instrumentation, P&ID and electrical drawings.
• 2+ years in natural gas operations, process equipment, engine, compressor mechanics, and/or gas compression.
• 1+ years of Allen Bradley, Siemens, Click PLC & HMI Automation hardware/software preferred.
• Knowledge of LNG & CNG process flow & operations; knowledge transferable to other fluids.

Responsibilities

• Operate, install, maintain, troubleshoot & repair equipment for natural gas storage and delivery.
• Maintain process instrumentation, transmitters, analyzers, and sensors for accuracy.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, PFDs, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Train staff, contractors, and customers on electrical & instrumentation systems.
• Safely perform tasks following safety policies and procedures.
• Document daily activities, maintenance, parts, repairs and modifications.
