Job summary

Shelter House in Chantilly, VA, seeks an entry-level Program Coordinator to support the HOME TBRA program under the Program Manager. You will assist with documentation, file management, and housing-related tasks.

Responsibilities include coordinating applications and rent assistance, maintaining records, and scheduling intakes, viewings, and inspections. A HS diploma with relevant experience or an Associate's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred; a high school diploma with relevant experience may be substituted.
• Ability to prioritize competing priorities and make sound judgments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting required documentation from clients.
• Create and maintain client files; digitize documents into SH SharePoint.
• Coordinate application fees and submit rent assistance requests.
• Maintain financial tracking spreadsheets and deliver checks.
• Schedule intake, housing viewings, and inspections; assist with housing assessments.
• Maintain confidentiality of client, financial, housing, and program information.
