EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA is seeking a food service worker to prepare entrees, soups and sauces in a high‑volume kitchen. You will meet production schedules, follow health and sanitation standards and ensure quality and proper storage of ingredients.

The role requires a high school diploma, a Washington Food & Beverage Workers Permit, and about one year of related culinary experience. You will work with a range of equipment and provide excellent customer service.

Qualificações

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Valid Washington state Food and Beverage Workers Permit.
• 1 year of related experience in fast-food, restaurant, hospitality or culinary environ.
• Experience preparing starches, vegetables, soups, sauces, gravies; operating cooking equipment.
• Ability to understand business math and communicate clearly.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparation, cooking, carving and portioning meats, entrees, vegetables, starches, soups and sauces.
• Maintain hot and cold items at proper temperatures.
• Plan cooking schedule according to menu and department volume needs.
• Review production sheet to determine type and amount of food to be prepared.
• Procure food items from storage areas.
• Direct procurement of supplies as needed.
• Label, date and store foods per department standards.
• Follow department and government safety and sanitation standards.
• Operate a variety of commercial kitchen equipment safely and accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
