Job summary

EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Food Service Worker to perform a variety of duties in the cafeteria and catering areas. Responsibilities include cashiering, food prep, and ensuring safe, sanitary handling of meals for patients, staff, and visitors.

Daily tasks include operating the POS system, serving meals, packaging items, setting up caterings, timely delivery, and maintaining clean dining spaces.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• A valid Washington State Food and Beverage Workers Permit.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation and food-handling standards.
• Recent food service or cashiering experience, or equivalent.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS cash register to record transactions per policies.
• Maintain hot and cold foods at proper temperatures.
• Serve food following safety and sanitation standards.
• Prepare and package food items per recipes; handle catering prep.
• Maintain clean dining and retail areas.
• Follow attendance, punctuality and reliability guidelines.
