Job summary

First Tech is seeking an entry-level IT Support Technician to provide first-level technical support for internal employees in Marlboro or Chelmsford, MA. You will respond to requests via phone, chat, and email, troubleshoot common hardware and software issues, and document all incidents and requests in the ticketing system.

You will assist with installing and configuring devices, communicating resolution steps clearly, and adhering to service standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop, branch, and corporate location support for employees, including routine incidents and service requests.
• Install, configure, image, deploy, troubleshoot, and repair laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other endpoint equipment.
• Support branch and corporate site needs, including equipment setup and onsite troubleshooting.
• Follow established troubleshooting procedures and escalation paths with supervision.
• Maintain accurate ticket documentation, asset updates, and knowledge article feedback.
