Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks a skilled aircraft mechanic to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on UH-1N and MH-139 helicopters and related equipment in accordance with SOPs and the PWS.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, or FAA A&P certification with 1 year hands-on aircraft experience, the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance, and a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year hands-on aircraft experience OR FAA-approved Aviation Maintenance Technician program with A&P.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD secret clearance.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance on UH-1N and MH-139 helicopters per SOPs and PWS.
• Apply technical expertise to diagnose malfunctions using manuals and schematics.
• Conduct in-flight checks, rotor tracking, and vibration troubleshooting.
• Maintain cleanliness and corrosion control on equipment.
• Document all maintenance actions in IMDS and aircraft forms.
