Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. operates the Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine in Colorado, seeking an entry-level Operator Heap Leach 1 to support safe, efficient heap leach operation and maintenance. You will assist with dehydration, piping, inspections, and basic leaching tasks while adhering to safety regulations and SSR policies.

Ideal candidates have 0–1 year heap leach exposure and a willingness to learn, with teamwork and safety as top priorities. Training and progression are provided at the site.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year heap leach experience is required or preferred
• Previous mining experience is not required but preferred
• Ability to learn heap leach operations and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform Tech 1 duties safely and proficiently
• Install heap leach piping and assist basic leaching operations
• Monitor equipment and systems for abnormal conditions
• Operate only trained equipment and systems
• Carry out pre-shift and pre-operational inspections
• Communicate safety and operational information during shifts
• Follow safety procedures and housekeeping practices
• Complete paperwork accurately and promptly
• Support safe, efficient operations as needed
