Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. is seeking a Heap Leach Operator to join our team. The role involves assembling, inspecting, and maintaining components of the heap leach system, monitoring leach pad performance, and ensuring safe, efficient operation in an outdoor mining environment.

Applicants should demonstrate the ability to work a 4-day, 10-hour schedule, report incidents and spills promptly, and operate with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license and English communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must report incidents and accidents to supervisor.
• Must report spills and mortalities to supervisor.
• Ability to work safely around mobile equipment.
• Must wear PPE including footwear, high-visibility clothing, eye/ear protection.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and efficiently; maintain safe attitude.
• Assist with housekeeping and cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Perform daily walk-around inspections of work area and light vehicles/equipment.
• Assist with piping and setup of heap leach pad; avoid spills.
