Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. is offering a Summer Internship for a Mine Engineer Intern at the Cripple Creek & Victor Mine in Colorado.

You will support the Technical Services team on diverse engineering projects, gain exposure to real-world mine engineering in an open-pit environment, and collaborate with industry professionals. The role targets students pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mine Engineering or related field, with an expected graduation of December 2026 or later, and requires basic engineering

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Expected graduation December 2026 or later.
• Understanding of basic engineering principles and practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with small-to-medium engineering projects aligned with department goals.
• Perform technical research and analysis; compile findings and draw conclusions.
• Prepare, summarize, and present performance metrics and technical reports.
• Support day-to-day activities of the Technical Services department and perform additional duties as assigned.
