CK Contractors and Development LLC is seeking an entry-level Grading Equipment Operator to run and maintain a variety of heavy machinery for site grading within a 70-mile radius of the Savannah area. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable performance.

You will start as an entry-level operator with opportunities to learn and advance, performing duties such as reading site plans, coordinating with crew members, and adhering to safety standards while supporting multiple job sites.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of site grading experience or outdoor work experience.
• Ability to operate various grading equipment.
• Excellent safety awareness and willingness to comply with safety standards.
• Ability to work with others, think critically, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment for site grading.
• Read plans on site and check grade according to site plan.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and activities.
• Monitor operations to meet health and safety standards.
• Perform pre- and post-checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain attendance and be available for overtime as needed.
