Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required.
• Master’s degree with Geotechnical specialty preferred.
• 0–2 years of work experience.
• Minimum GPA 3.0; EIT certification or FE registration preferred.
• Strong communication, detail orientation and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of field investigations including logging borings and test pits.
• Observe foundation and earthwork construction; ensure conformance with documents.
• Prepare logs, field forms, daily reports and chain of custody logs.
• Document site observations and communicate issues to supervisor.
• Contribute to geotechnical reports for large projects.
