Kleinfelder’s Oklahoma City, Oklahoma office is seeking an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience, skills, and interest in developing their career in geotechnical engineering.

We are looking for candidates experienced in:

• Geotechnical field investigations
• Soil and rock classification/boring logs
• Pavement design
• Foundation engineering and analysis
• Report preparation

The preferred candidate will have 0 to 5 years of experience and:

• Possess a positive work attitude and the ability to work safely and efficiently while managing multiple tasks
• Be capable of working independently or collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Communicate clearly and effectively with peers, supervisors, clients, subcontractors, and regulators

Educational requirements:

• M.S. in Civil Engineering (geotechnical emphasis preferred)
• B.S. in Civil Engineering

Additional qualifications:

• EIT certification is preferred or the ability to obtain within 3 to 6 months
• Ability to obtain PE license within 4 years of hire
• Experience in construction material testing and inspection is a plus
