Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site investigations to assess soil and rock conditions
• Perform geotechnical analysis and calculations
• Design foundations, retaining structures, and slope stabilization systems
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate geotechnical considerations
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to geotechnical specifications
• Prepare clear and concise reports and recommendations
• Track budgets & project financials for accuracy; invoice clients appropriately
• Maintain positive business relationships with clients, government officials, contractors, etc.
• Participate in professional meetings and/or business development functions as needed

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Geotechnical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) License, preference to State of Texas
• Experience in geotechnical investigations, reports, testing plans, data interpretation, foundation design, drilling, boring plan layout, site preparation, slope stability, seismic hazard evaluations, and structural inspections.
