Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer (Entry Level)

Kleinfelder's Oklahoma City, Oklahoma office is looking for an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our engineering team with experience, skills, and interest in developing their career.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct geotechnical field investigations
  • Classify soil and rock, interpret boring logs
  • Design pavement and analyze foundation systems
  • Prepare technical reports
Qualifications:
  • 0 to 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Positive work attitude, able to work safely and efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Education:
  • M.S. in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus preferred
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
Additional Requirements:
  • EIT certification preferred or ability to obtain within 3-6 months
  • Ability to obtain PE license within 4 years
  • Experience in construction material testing and inspection preferred
