Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (EIT).
• 0–4 years of relevant experience.
• Field experience relating to site grading and foundation construction is highly desired.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Recommend and analyze foundation options for buildings, bridges, retaining walls and other structures.
• Prepare cohesive reports, develop project specifications, and geotechnical details.
• Perform field engineering services including borings inspection and deep foundation inspection.
• Support municipal owner and design-build contractors on design-bid-build and design-build projects.
