Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. in Morgan Hill, CA is seeking a Front-End Team Member to join our store team. You’ll be at the heart of checkout, ensuring a smooth and friendly experience as you scan items, bag groceries, and help customers with questions.

You’ll help keep the front end organized and running throughout the shift, rotating between transactions, bagging, restocking, and upkeep in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older (or 18 depending on local/state requirements).
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers at checkout.
• Handle transactions accurately across cash, card, and digital payments.
• Maintain a clean, organized front-end and checkout area.
• Assist with cart collection, stocking, and front-end upkeep.
