Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to support a smooth checkout experience across busy store operations. You will scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers with questions while staying friendly and efficient.

You’ll rotate between tasks like handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and keeping the checkout area organized, clean, and running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ or 18+ depending on local/state requirements
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide a smooth checkout experience by scanning items, bagging groceries and answering customer questions
• Rotate between tasks such as handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies and maintaining the checkout area
• Maintain accuracy in pricing, produce codes and order completion
• Assist customers with inquiries and offer friendly, efficient service
