Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to help create a smooth checkout experience for customers and ensure accurate purchases at the point of sale.

You will rotate between scanning, bagging, restocking, and assisting customers while following store policies and maintaining an orderly checkout area. Flexibility for early mornings, weekends, and holidays is required to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer interaction skills during checkout and customer assistance
• Transaction handling across cash, card, and digital payments
• Attention to detail in scanning, pricing, and order completion
• Basic math skills for cash handling and making change
• Organization and time management to balance multiple tasks
• Store support awareness including bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and upkeep
• Problem awareness to address pricing or service questions
• Operational awareness of company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes
• Adaptability to changing tasks and customer flow
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Operate checkout transactions and assist customers at the front end.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
• Assist with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and general front-end upkeep as needed
