Scot Forge is seeking an entry level Manufacturing/Production Forge Utility Worker in Franklin Park, IL. This role supports forging operations, including loading 65 lb pieces with tongs into the forge furnace and coordinating pre-forgings with the Blacksmith.

Qualifications

• Ability to do frequent heavy lifting in a hot work environment.
• Strong Math and Mechanical aptitude.
• Tape measure and computer experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate metal pre-forgings with Blacksmith.
• Load and unload 65 lb. pieces with tongs into forge furnace and hammer.
• Remove scrap from pit, shovel and unload.
