Job summary

Scot Forge in Spring Grove, IL is seeking entry-level manufacturing personnel for Production, CNC, Forge and QC roles. The positions offer 2nd shift options and a 10% shift premium. Scot Forge manufactures custom forgings used globally and operates plants in Spring Grove, Clinton, and Franklin Park.

Primary duties include operating heavy equipment, forklift operation, and adherence to safe work practices. Benefits include life insurance, 401K/Roth, paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong math and computer skills.
• Hand tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Use of micrometer, caliper and tape measure.
• Machine set up and operation.
• Crane rigging and operation.
• Prior manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Operating heavy industrial equipment (saws, CNCs, furnaces, presses).
• Driving forklifts.
• Actively participate in safe work practices.
