Job summary

Hormel Foods Corporation is seeking an Entry Level Foodservice Sales Representative in the United States. The role focuses on calling on existing customers to grow sales for the area team, with training across 21 area offices nationwide and a path for advancement within the foodservice group.

Responsibilities include introducing new products, educating distributors and operators, and implementing marketing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Professional Selling, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Hospitality, Hotel/Restaurant Management, or related field; GPA 3.0+ requirement.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
• Must be comfortable with the preparation and consumption of Hormel Foods products (pork, beef, chicken, peanuts).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive for extended periods.
• Must be open to relocation.

Responsibilities

• Increase business by adding products to distribution and expanding usage of existing Hormel Foods products.
• Implement marketing strategies for Hormel Foods products.
• Receive training on Hormel Foods products, selling techniques, and business planning.
