Del Real Foods in California is seeking a Quality Control Inspector I to support on-line food safety and quality checks under supervision. This role involves basic QA tasks and using standard instruments to ensure product quality.

You will assist with HACCP/GMP compliance, document deviations, and communicate findings to QA leadership. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced meat processing environment.

Qualifications

• Communication skills: Verbal and written ability to communicate information to QA Lead/supervisor and other team members.
• Self-motivated, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Basic knowledge on HACCP and GMP requirements for employee practices in a USDA/FDA Establishment.
• Knowledge of calibration requirements for testing equipment used for monitoring tasks of food safety and quality.
• Flexible schedule, open availability M-F, plus OT and weekends if needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the execution of food safety and quality checks on the line.
• Provide technical assistance to operations regarding process deviation reports and product specifications.
• Place product on hold when not compliant with food safety/quality or Del Real Foods specifications.
• Investigate root cause and determine disposition under QA guidance.
• Communicate deficiencies and opportunities to QA and Operations management.
• Follow GMPs and employee safety requirements.
