Job summary

ECS Composites in Medford, OR, is hiring for an entry-level Swing Shift FabPad position. You will build and assemble foam and cushion components, measure, cut, shape, and finish parts according to work instructions.

No manufacturing experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. The Swing Shift runs Monday to Thursday, offering three-day weekends and occasional Friday overtime during the busy season.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble foam and cushion components according to work instructions and specifications
• Measure, mark, cut, shape, and fit foam materials
• Apply adhesives and assemble foam pieces to create finished cushion components
• Use templates, patterns, and measurements to ensure parts are made correctly
• Use hand tools, cutting tools, and other equipment safely and correctly
• Read work orders, drawings, and production instructions
• Verify materials and measurements before beginning work
• Inspect finished cushions for proper size, fit, appearance, and overall quality
• Trim and make adjustments as needed to meet specifications
• Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or defective materials
• Keep materials and completed parts organized throughout the production process
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
• Work with your team to meet daily production goals
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
• Help identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency
