ECS Composites is seeking a dependable teammate to join our Swing Shift FabPad crew. You will build and prepare custom cushion and foam components for our rugged products used in military, aerospace, and industrial applications. No prior foam experience required—we train the right person.

Shifts are Monday through Thursday with three-day weekends and occasional Friday overtime during busy season. You’ll work with hand tools, measure accurately, follow work instructions, and help maintain a

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble foam cushions per specs.
• Measure, mark, cut, shape, fit foam material.
• Apply adhesives; assemble foam pieces.
• Use templates and drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Operate hand and cutting tools safely.
• Read work orders and production instructions.
• Verify materials and measurements before start.
• Inspect cushions for size, fit, and quality.
• Maintain organized, clean, safe work area.

At ECS Composites, we manufacture rugged products used in military, aerospace, commercial, and industrial applications around the world. As part of our Swing Shift FabPad team, you'll help build and prepare custom cushion and foam components used in our products.

Our Swing Shift FabPad team works Monday–Thursday, giving you three-day weekends, plus occasional Friday overtime during our busy season for those looking to earn even more.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and assemble foam and cushion components according to work instructions and specifications
• Measure, mark, cut, shape, and fit foam materials
• Apply adhesives and assemble foam pieces to create finished cushion components
• Use templates, patterns, and measurements to ensure parts are made correctly
• Use hand tools, cutting tools, and other equipment safely and correctly
• Read work orders, drawings, and production instructions
• Verify materials and measurements before beginning work
• Inspect finished cushions for proper size, fit, appearance, and overall quality
• Trim and make adjustments as needed to meet specifications
• Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or defective materials
• Keep materials and completed parts organized throughout the production process
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
• Work with your team to meet daily production goals
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
• Help identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency

Previous experience working with foam, upholstery, fabrication, or similar materials is helpful, but not required. We're willing to train the right person.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing and walking throughout the shift
• Lifting and moving materials and finished products up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and kneeling
• Gripping, handling, cutting, and positioning foam and other materials
• Using hand tools and production equipment throughout the workday
• Performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Working around adhesives and other materials commonly used in cushion production
