Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician I to inspect, diagnose, and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations, and safety inspections to ensure reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience or 2–3 years equivalent.
• ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repairs; update PM sheets.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform on-site repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
