Job summary

South County Fire in Snohomish County, WA seeks a Firefighter EMT to perform emergency and non-emergency services, including fire suppression, BLS EMS, and training duties. The role reports to Captain and follows contractual schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid National Registry and/or WA EMT Certification.
• Experience with firefighter training and drills.
• Strong communication under stress and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Participates in training, pre-fire planning, inspections.
• Delivers Basic Life Support (BLS) EMS.
• Operates pumps and ladders as trained.
• Directs rescues and assists in patient transport.
