North Whatcom Fire and Rescue in Washington is seeking qualified candidates for the Lateral Firefighter role. Lateral candidates must have CPAT, IFSAC Firefighter 1 & 2, EMT-B (WA state or NREMT), a valid driver’s license, and be at least 21 years old.

Two years of paid municipal or fire district experience are required, with IAFF membership or current enrollment in LEOFF2 considered qualified experience. The department offers a comprehensive benefits package and a four-platoon schedule.
