Job summary

Sandoval County Fire and Rescue (SCFR) seeks a Firefighter/EMT-I to perform fire suppression, EMS duties, and rescue operations. You will maintain required certifications, operate emergency vehicles, and work under the Fire Chief or designee within SCFR protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Fire Science or EMS preferred.
• EMT-I license and NM EMS certification required with reciprocity if National Registry is held.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and perform fire suppression, rescue, life support, and EMS duties.
• Operate county emergency and/or passenger vehicles in a safe manner.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and station readiness; follow SCFR policies and procedures.
