Qualifications

• 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or GED
• Must pass physical agility, oral and/or written testing, medical examination, drug screen and extensive background check
• College degree from an accredited college or university
• Georgia State Firefighter Certification or equivalent
• National Professional Qualification (NPQ) or equivalent
• Firefighter 1
• Hazmat Awareness
• State EMT or National Registry EMT
