Job summary

Cleveland Menu Company is seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst to support reporting, month-end close, FP&A, and cost analysis. You will help with budgets, forecasts, job costing, and production cost tracking, working closely with the Director of Finance.

The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and process improvement in a manufacturing finance environment; onsite, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel; exposure to ERP/accounting systems a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and collaborate across teams.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and management reports.
• Support the general ledger close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Help maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with internal controls and policies.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Support the development of job costing models and profitability reports.
• Help track and analyze production costs, margins, and pricing trends.
• Prepare variance analyses and ad hoc reports to support decision-making.
• Work closely with the Director of Finance and accounting team to support day-to-day finance operations.
