Job summary

Talentify is seeking an FP&A Manager for a manufacturing facility in Blanchester, OH. You will lead stand-alone plant finance, drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting, and partner with operations to drive performance and cost efficiency.

You will oversee monthly close, perform data analysis, build financial models, and present findings to leadership using clear storytelling. This on-site role offers visibility and growth within a dynamic, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of accounting and finance experience.
• Experience in FP&A, financial analysis, and cost accounting.
• Strong understanding of month-end close processes and budgeting.
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret large, complex data sets.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability in negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Experience with ERP systems, with SAGE strongly preferred.
• Comfort working with new and evolving systems, including cloud-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A activities for the plant, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities.
• Oversee monthly close and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends and provide insights.
• Support cost accounting and manufacturing finance initiatives.
• Partner with operations to evaluate plant performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain financial models and conduct scenario analyses.
• Present financial data to leadership with clear storytelling.
• Participate in strategic negotiations from a financial perspective.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Utilize ERP systems (SAGE) to manage and report financial data.
• Work with cloud-based platforms to enhance processes.
