Job summary

Cleveland Menu Printing is seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst to join our manufacturing finance team in Cleveland, OH. You will support FP&A, monthly close, journal entries, and cost analysis under the direction of the Director of Finance.

You will help with budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and profitability reporting, learning hands-on with our accounting team. This role is onsite, with a salary range of $50,000–$55,000 and benefits including 401(k) and life/AD&D coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships considered).
• Proficiency in Excel and exposure to ERP/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and management reports.
• Support the general ledger close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Help maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with internal controls and policies.
• Assist in budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Support the development of job costing models and profitability reports.
• Track production costs, margins, and pricing trends; prepare variance analyses and ad hoc reports.
• Collaborate with the Director of Finance and accounting team; learn and take on new responsibilities.

Job description

This is an entry-level role designed for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who is eager to learn and grow within a manufacturing finance environment.

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst will support the finance function by assisting with financial reporting, month-end and year-end close processes, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and management reports.
• Support the general ledger close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Help maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with internal controls and policies.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Support the development of job costing models and profitability reports.
• Help track and analyze production costs, margins, and pricing trends.
• Prepare variance analyses and ad hoc reports to support decision-making.
• Work closely with the Director of Finance and accounting team to support day-to-day finance operations.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, ask questions, and take on new responsibilities as skills develop.
• Contribute to a culture of process adherence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel; exposure to ERP/accounting systems a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and collaborate across teams.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
