Job summary

Kiewit seeks an entry-level Finance Analyst to support project accounting and finance functions across large projects from $1 million to $4 billion. It’s a hands-on role focused on cost control, payroll, AP/AR, HR processes, and compliance as part of a project’s small-business finance team.

You’ll help with month-end close, prepare financial reporting packages, and learn the tools used for cost and revenue components across labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or equivalent degree.
• 0–2 years financial or data analysis experience.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs preferred.
• Effective communication and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel/relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cost control for projects and related reporting.
• Payroll and HR process workflow management.
• Accounts payable/receivable processing and internal controls.
• Intercompany and client billing and cash management impact.
• Month-end close and financial reporting package preparation.
