Job summary

Kiewit Engineering Group, Inc is seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst to support project accounting and finance tasks, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and cost control. You will participate in the month-end close and help prepare management reporting packages.

Based in Lenexa, KS, this role offers exposure to large-scale projects across the US with opportunities for growth within the Operational Finance group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting/finance or related field.
• 0–3 years of financial/data analysis experience.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook; experience with Pivot Tables and V-Lookups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel and relocate as needed.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support cost control, payroll, A/P/A/R, and human capital management.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting packages.
• Understand vendor billing and internal controls.
• Contribute to forecast and budget reviews.
• Provide excellent customer service and teamwork.
