ECS Limited is offering a unique opportunity for a talented Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our Pittsburgh team and advance in a dynamic work environment. No prior experience is needed, as you'll work under the guidance of experienced professionals to learn to safely perform a variety of tasks.

As your experience grows, ECS will support your professional development, including participation in OSHA 10, ACI, ASNT, AWS, ICC, NICET, NRCA and other programs where

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
• Must have valid driver's license and insurance.
• Willing to develop understanding of heavy construction safety, practices, and procedures.
• Willing to obtain knowledge of CMT principles and applications, as well as ASTM laboratory standards.

Responsabilités

• Field Activities: Observe, test, and sample materials (soils, aggregates, concrete) on project sites under guidance of senior staff.
• Testing Procedures: Perform routine field and laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete following industry standards.
• Data Collection: Perform calculations and data reduction from sampling and test results; assist with drafting and admin duties.
• Communication: Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers; report site changes and additional testing needs.
• Training and Development: Receive ECS methodology training and document findings precisely.
