Job summary

Intertek-PSI in Canton, MA is seeking an Entry Level Field Technician I to join our team. You will perform testing (soil, concrete, and other) and observations under supervision, using drawings, specifications, and diagrams to guide data collection and reporting.

This role requires physical ability to lift, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather. A high school diploma and foundational QA/testing exposure are preferred, with opportunities for growth in the A/E/C industry.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to work overtime and off-shift.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Able to lift 30–50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and report results.
• Review drawings, specs, and diagrams.
• Conduct site observations and interpret results.
• Maintain detailed test documentation.
