Job summary

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, seeks an Entry Level Field Technician I to join our Canton, MA team. This role supports testing, observations, and site assessments under supervision to grow a versatile career in A/E/C.

You will operate testing equipment, reference drawings, and document results while adhering to safety guidelines. A high school diploma and ability to travel up to 15% with lifting requirements are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; occasional >50 pounds with assistance.
• Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions and at various heights.
• Detail-oriented with ability to interpret observations from site activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete, etc.) and report data.
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams during tests.
• Make detailed observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
